The HIV Health and Human Services Planning Council of New York is charged with comprehensive planning for HIV services in the NY metropolitan area and with setting priorities for the allocation of funds received under Part A of the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Treatment Extension Act. Anyone who wants to be considered for appointment to the Planning Council must complete this application. Applications may be submitted at any time. Applications will be reviewed by the Council’s Rules & Membership Committee in the spring and summer of each year. Potential members may be asked to come in for a brief interview. Recommendations for appointment are made to the Mayor’s Office in August for terms beginning September 1st. Before submitting the application, please check carefully to ensure that you have provided all the necessary information.
