Ryan White Part A Services

The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (NYC DOHMH) is the Recipient of the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) Part A grant.  The Bureau of HIV’s Care and Treatment Program is the designated Grantee and is responsible for the overall administration of the RWHAP Part A grant.  The RWHAP Part A grant funds primary medical care and support service for people with HIV in the New York Eligible Metropolitan Area (NY EMA), including the five boroughs of NYC and the adjacent Tri-County region of Westchester, Rockland, and Putnam counties.  The Care and Treatment Program works with cities, states, and local community-based organizations to provide comprehensive care and treatment services to people with HIV who are uninsured and underinsured.  Please see the following documents and other resources issued by the Care and Treatment Program.
